My name is Laura Grace, although many know me as Lalá.
Soy artist, illustrator, muralist and director of an art academy… but above all, I am someone who has been painting for as long as I can remember and hasn't stopped since then..
My work does not seek to please: seeks to speak
From 2004, my life has been marked by him art in motion: Linares, Alicante, Pontevedra, Minorca, Pamplona... Cities that have given me inspiration and in which I have left part of my work.
I have painted murals, I have exhibited in salas with history and I have founded spaces so that others also believe.
Among the most important projects of my career are The Painted House in Linares, created together with artists such as Belin or Miguel Scheroff, y The Art Factory, my academy in Zaragoza, who is still alive since 2015.
In 2024, I went one step further by publishing my first illustrated album, "The Restless Forest", with the Prames publishing house.

My painting does not seek to please. Try to count.
I work with everything I have: brushes, manos, various materials and a constant need to bring out what I have inside.
I like to explore, stain me, try, break and rebuild.
There are paintings full of light and others that are darker., because that's life. But color is always present. It's my way of filtering reality. And to resist it, sometimes.

Why do I do it?
Because I can't not do it.
Art is not an option, It's my way of inhabiting the world.
As Nietzsche said: “Without art, Life would be a mistake.”.
